Meet the Candidates for Fredericktown Mayor at the March 8, 2012 Chamber Luncheon. The Mayoral candidates will be in attendance for an introduction and question/answer time. All questions must be submitted to the Chamber Office not later than Tuesday, March 6th and will be chosen and asked by a Chamber representative. The chamber luncheon is held at Follis Place, adjacent to Follis & Son's Funeral Home located in Fredericktown. The meal for this meeting is FREE - courtesy of WalMart of Fredericktown. Job/Career Fair - Saturday, March 24th at Fredericktown National Guard Armory. Contact the Chamber now to reserve your booth for any of the following areas:
- Businesses currently seeking to hire employees.
- Businesses interested in educating prospective future employees on the education and job skills needed in their field of work.
- Organizations/Businesses or individuals to teach job skills including resume preparation, general soft job skills and tips to help job seekers get their resume to the top of the list.
- Colleges, Universities, Vocational/Technical Schools, Military Recruiters and more.
Participants who will benefit from this job/career fair are:
- Unemployed
- Underemployed
- Employed, but considering a new career path
- Students uncertain of what they want to do after high school or college
- Information about options/ career choices right here in Madison County

First Friday is held every month at The Loft: Community Arts Center in historic, downtown Fredericktown, Missouri. The Chamber of Commerce and Fredericktown Revitalization Initiative are proud to host First Friday in The Loft located at 120 West Main, above the Chamber. First Friday includes an art opening for local and regional artists to showcase their talents. Artists work includes various art styles and techniques, photography, pottery, scultures, basketweaving, quilting and stained glass. Some months feature poetry, music and readings by local or regional authors as well. Visit The Loft website and Facebook page frequently for updated information.
